The problem with netflix is that there are thousands of movies to choose from, hundreds on my individual queue, and currently there are three un-opened dvd's sitting next to my tv. I know others have this problem (I would link to Emily Pie here, but her site is having issues).
But it's not just the movies, it's the stack of books and magazines that sit next to my bed too. Oh and don't even let me start on my google reader. In a perfect world fun wouldn't have to wait in line behind responsibilities. But right now fun is anxiously tapping it's foot checking it's watch and giving nasty looks to responsibility taking it's sweet time at the head of the line.
The next few months are going to be some of my busiest with my internship, school and work all vying for my full attention. This does make me overwhelmed and a little nervous. But as my dad keeps me reminding me, it's only nine months of my life and it brings me one more step closer to my goal of being a therapist. Come next summer I will be able to make my own schedule. Just nine months.
I am going to do my best to keep up with blogging because sometimes it is one of the only things that keep me sane. But everything else like the movies, books, magazines and even my google reader may have to wait because right now I am busy being busy.

Oh I hear ya. It seems to take me MONTHS to get through my three Netflix movies, but they just keep piling up in my queue (I'm somewhere around 150 right now). And since I work in magazines, I have subscriptions to 20-30, many of those weekly, and still haven't read many of the April and May issues! It's getting a bit ridiculous, and I'm letting them all run out. But don't get me started on the pile of 10 books currently sitting on my bedside table!
When I am extremely busy it stresses me out and gives me anxiety. But, when I am bored I long for the busy days. I would take a fast, busy day before a slow boring one. :-) Good Luck!
We have three Netflix envelopes somewhere in the house that have been sitting around for weeks, if not months. Wow, I'm going to have to look for them when I get home.
I hope you find the time to continue blogging!!!
Hang in there Sarah! I have found that by reading for 15-20 minutes before bed can really calm me after a crazy day, and at least that way you should be able to conquer some of those magazines! :)
This is my life, stacks of not yet looked through magazines. STACKS. This is the very reason we haven't started Netflix, it would be the same way. Hope it's not too crazy! :)
Right there with ya hun. I always seem to bite off more than I can chew. I've had my current Netflix videos sitting at home for about a month now. Haven't watched them yet...I think because I'd rather watch what's next on my list...yet, I hate to send movies back unwatched...seems like a waste ya know.
Heya! Oh my goodness do I know what you mean ... John and I have bought so many DVDs that we need to watch and then there's all the netflix stuff ... and I haven't finished a book in forever! But at least you have a good excuse! Man, work, internship and school is freakin crazy! Gooo you! I know you will do an awesome juggling act and afterwards we'll all clap at the amazing routine you pulled off! Hee. So cheesy! But true! If you aren't blogging so much, we'll miss you, but we totally understand - take your time and take time in life just to kick back and relax -- you totally deserve it! Oh and that's SO amazing you'll be able to make your own schedule in just nine months. yay!
